Guidance for reporting abuse, suspicious activity, impersonation, and other concerns while 2016Chat prepares for public MVP testing.
Report a concern
To report abuse, harassment, impersonation, threats, suspicious activity, fraud, account compromise, or content that may violate policies, email support@2016chat.com.
What to include
- Your account email or user identifier, if relevant.
- The username, account, message, or interaction involved.
- A short description of what happened and when it happened.
- Screenshots or other context, if safe and appropriate to share.
Emergency situations
If there is an immediate danger or emergency, contact local emergency services first. 2016Chat email support is not an emergency response service.
Review and retention
2016Chat may preserve, review, restrict, remove, or report information where needed for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, support, or operations. Information may be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to limited retention for those purposes.
